2024 Budget Was Fair – Tax Expert 1 min read

The Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta on November 15, 2023, presented the 2024 budget to Parliament and there have been mixed reactions from the populace.

Some members of the business community described it as uninspiring while others welcomed it.

Tax Expert, Julius Gyimah, has described the 2024 budget as fair.

Julius Gyimah in an interview on the Ama Ghana Show on Time FM, 97.7Mhz giving his take on the post-budget review said the government noticed it is not time to introduce a new tax.

He said a section of Ghanaians predicted the introduction of new taxes but the opposite happened

He told the host Nana Kwabena Ampratwum that the non-introduction of a new tax has toned down the tension of the budget.
