Mr. Frank Agyei-Boakye, Labour Officer, Kumasi has established that the Labour Department has formalized Domestic Workers recruitment in the country.
According to Mr. Agyei-Boakye, good condition of service has been factored into the status quo to make the service formal and attractive.
Speaking on Time FM’s Ama Ghana Morning Show, he told Kwame Koranteng that the SSNIT contribution for the employee and other factors like annual leave, rest period, prohibition of sexual harassment and domestic violence, force labour and others are considered.
