High Taxation Retards Employment Generation – GUTA1 min read
President of the Ghana Union Traders Association (GUTA), Dr. Joseph Obeng has revealed that high taxation retards employment generation.
According to him, the government has not realized that high taxation does not make the country competitive.
He further added that most traders move to neighbouring countries like Togo, Ivory Cost and others for trade due to how cheap their goods are.
Speaking on Time FM’s Ama Ghana Morning Show, the GUTA President said high taxes affect negatively on industrialization drive and the economy.
