President Akufo-Addo has stated that he remains committed to the mandate Ghanaians have given him.

Akufo-Addo said he will always be glad to the Almighty God and Ghanaians for allowing him to serve them.

Delivering his Christmas and New Year message, he assured to use the last year of his stay in office to do all in his power to continue to help create a free and prosperous nation of opportunities.

He was notable that next year is an important year in the country’s democracy where the 9th general election in the history of the fourth republic will be held.

He said every Ghanaian has a duty to conduct themselves in a manner to have free, fair and transparent elections.

Nana Addo expressed confidence that Ghanaians will rise to the occasion once again and reinforce the status of Ghana as a beacon of democracy on the African Continent.
