Prof. Kobby Mensah Praises Govt’s Performance Tracker, Deems it Unfit for Undergraduate Curriculum1 min read
Prof. Kobby Mensah, an Associate Professor of Political Marketing at the University of Ghana Business School, has voiced his perspective on the government’s performance tracker, describing it as a commendable initiative. However, he asserts that it falls short of meeting the criteria for inclusion in undergraduate programs.
During an appearance on the Ama Ghana morning show on Time FM, Prof. Mensah highlighted the potential of the performance tracker to showcase the government of Ghana’s achievements. Nonetheless, he expressed concern over its suitability for undergraduate education.
Prof. Mensah elaborated that while the performance tracker could effectively illustrate governmental accomplishments, its implementation timeline raises questions.
He noted that although the delivery tracker was initiated during the 2020 elections, it was subsequently removed. He emphasized that had the tracker been consistently maintained, Ghanaians would have had the opportunity to monitor government projects effectively.
