Richard Kumadoe, the Founder and Leader of the Independent Election and Security Compliance Watchers, has expressed his frustration with Ghana’s stagnation, stating that even simple tasks have become needlessly complicated for the nation.
He emphasized the necessity for Ghana to evolve beyond its current state.
Speaking on the Ama Ghana Morning Show on Time FM 97.7MHz, Mr Kumadoe criticized the pervasive focus on politics and elections in everyday life, asserting that these activities do not contribute productively to the nation’s GDP but rather promote fraud and criminality.
While addressing the commencement of the Limited Voters Registration exercise, Mr Kumadoe expressed hope for a smooth process that ensures compliance.
xHe emphasized the importance of avoiding unnecessary agitation, urging authorities to learn from past mistakes.
Mr Kumadoe also commented on the guarantor system, suggesting that determining Ghanaian citizenship should not be a difficult task.
He highlighted concerns about the Electoral Commission’s occasional breaches of its own regulations and procedures, noting that such occurrences reflect broader issues within the nation.
