MP Urges Public to Respect Electoral Commission Amidst Technical Challenges1 min read

Hon. Andy Appiah-Kubi, a private legal practitioner and Member of Parliament for Asante Akyim North, has appealed to Ghanaians to show due respect to the Electoral Commission (EC).

Addressing concerns over recent technical glitches disrupting the ongoing Limited Voters Registration, he emphasized that these issues are not intended to disenfranchise eligible voters in the upcoming December elections.

Lawyer Appiah-Kubi acknowledged that such challenges are inevitable and urged citizens to remain calm to facilitate a smooth registration process.

Speaking on Time FM’s Ama Ghana Morning Show, the lawmaker emphasized the importance of rallying behind the EC and providing it with the necessary support during this critical period.
