December Polls: No time for disputes, let’s secure victory – Afenyo-Markin to NPP1 min read
Member of Parliament for Effutu and Majority Leader, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, has called on New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidates and supporters to unite and set aside their differences in the pursuit of victory in the 2024 general elections.
During the NPP’s 2024 manifesto launch in Takoradi, Western Region, on Sunday, Afenyo-Markin highlighted the urgency of the moment, urging that internal disputes be shelved.
He underscored the importance of collective action to secure a parliamentary majority in the upcoming elections.
The Effutu MP charged NPP parliamentary candidates to actively campaign and secure victories in the parliamentary elections.
“We don’t have time to resolve disputes; let’s get to work. The months ahead are critical. I urge you all to be present and support the government’s cause. Let’s finish strong; there’s a prize waiting for us. To all parliamentary candidates, I appeal to you—enough with the reconciliation; move forward, fight hard, and campaign tirelessly.”
“Visit every household. We don’t have time to settle disputes. Fight for this party as you would fight for a loved one. We need our numbers in Parliament. Let’s secure our seats and win together,” the Effutu MP passionately appealed.
