The Ghana Police Service has denied owning a truck involved in an accident, which had police stickers on it, as seen in a viral video.

According to the police, an initial investigation revealed that the truck, with registration number ER 765-17, actually belongs to Road Safety Management Services Ltd.

In a statement, the police clarified, “The truck involved in the accident at Nkonsa in the Ashanti Region is not the property of the Ghana Police Service, despite claims circulating on social media.”

An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
