A/R: Five Persons Arrested In Fumso Over Alleged Kidnapping Of 4-Year-Old Girl1 min read
Authorities have apprehended five individuals who are suspected of being involved in the abduction of a 4-year-old girl in Fumso, located in the Ashanti Region.
The individuals were transferred to the Fumso police for additional investigation.
According to reports, the individuals in question are believed to have originated from Wassa Jappa in the Western Region and subsequently made their way to Akyem Oda in the Eastern Region.
The individuals are recognised as Evans Appiah (38 years), Isaac Amoah (40 years), Yaw Pentey (39 years), Kwaku Aboagye (40 years), and Daniel Avevor (52 years).Based on reports, it is believed that they may be involved in illegal mining.
Adakora Albert, the Assembly member for Fumso Electoral area, has confirmed the incident and promptly reported it to the Fumso police.
Community members who are concerned have also reached out to the police, requesting a comprehensive investigation.
