The Executive Director, Center for Social Impact Studies, Richard Kojo Ellimah has said agriculture, mines explosion and release of fossil fuel affect climate change and the country has started feeling the impact of the atmosphere.

According to him, the houses we build and air conditions we use generate carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.

He encouraged the usage of more renewable energy and electric vehicles instead of fuel vehicles and planting of more trees to absorb carbon dioxide saying that these are some of the measures which the government should put in place.

Speaking on Ama Ghana Morning Show on Time FM, Mr Ellimah concluded that, if Ghanaians should do more walking than using vehicles, reducing amount of electricity and food waste can also reduce climate change in the country.
