President Akufo-Addo has commissioned the Law House, a state-of-the-art facility that will house the Office of the Attorney General and the Ministry of Justice.

The president emphasized that the Law House symbolizes the government’s commitment to upholding the rule of law, which is essential for a thriving democracy.

He highlighted the importance of the rule of law in ensuring that no one is above the law and that equality before the law is respected.

The president also noted that his administration has made significant strides in strengthening the rule of law in Ghana, including the digitalization and modernization of the legal and judicial systems.

He mentioned the digitalization of court processes, including electronic filing systems, which has expedited the handling of cases, enhanced transparency, and promoted accountability within the legal system.

The Law House is a testament to the government’s dedication to addressing the long-standing issue of office accommodation for the Attorney General’s Office and the Ministry of Justice.

The facility will provide a conducive environment for the efficient administration of the law in Ghana.
