Akufo-Addo’s Convoy Involved in Fatal Accident in Bunso, One Dead1 min read

One person has died and several others are seriously injured following an accident involving President Akufo-Addo’s convoy at Bunso Junction in the Eastern Region.

The deceased is reported to be a driver at Jubilee House.

The convoy was returning from the funeral of the late Ejisu MP John Kumah when a KIA truck crossed its path, causing the collision.

A statement from the Office of President confirming the incident said “President Akufo-Addo is safe and unharmed as he traveled to Accra via military aircraft.”
