The Ghana 🇬🇭 Baptist Church has officially robed Akwasi Adu-Gyamfi as Reverend Minister for the New Life Baptist Church at Dumanafo in the Mampong Community.

At a church ceremony at Mizpah Baptist Church, Ashanti New Town in Manhyia, Reverend Joseph Ayim Kumi, Association Head of the Baptist church robed the 48 year old Akwasi Adu-Gyamfi.

The Association Head also handed over the Church’s History Document as well as well as its Ethics and a Holy Bible to Reverend Adu-Gyamfi.

These items, the Association Head noted was something that guide the ministers of the Baptist Church in administering their offices to the glory of God.

Sermon:
Ministering the word of God to the gathering, Reverend Mrs Mary Fosu, Kumasi Ministers Fellowship Chairperson implored Reverend Adu-Gyamfi to distinguish himself as a Minister of God in all his duties.

She also asked the newly robed Minister to work effectively and efficiently as he leads his congregation at Dumanafo New Life Baptist Church.

Reverend Mrs Fosu also urged the church and the public to demonstrate good characters at every place they find themselves.

“The test of our faith comes up from the way we live and function and since we profess to know Christ we should function effectively and efficiently wherever we are placed”, the Preacher admonished.

Appreciation:
Showing appreciation, Reverend Akwasi Adu-Gyamfi thanked God and the Baptist church for honouring him by the robing ceremony.

He noted that the event marks a turning point in his life and assured that he would work to lead the congregation God has given him well till they make it to heaven.

However, the newly robed Minister cautioned the congregation and the public not to allow themselves or their children to be involved in activities that could mar the peace and stability of the country.

“I know you are all aware that the political season is almost here and as the political parties begin their campaigns make sure you do not by yourselves or your children engage in anything that can mar the peace we are enjoying in the country”, the Baptist Minister cautioned.

Dignitaries:
Present at the robing ceremony were Reverend Ministers of the Baptist church in Kumasi as well as other Ministers of the Gospel in Kumasi.

Danny Opoku Antwi, Youth Organiser of USA 🇺🇸 branch of the New Patriotic Party was also present with his team as well as other well wishers and friends of Rev Adu-Gyamfi.
