Alan Cash Officially Files Nomination To Contest NPP Presidential Primaries1 min read

On May 31, some market queens from Accra and Kumasi picked the nomination forms for the leading figure of the NPP, insisting that it’s his time to become the next president of Ghana.

After providing the required information to fill the forms, Alan Kyerematen has today submitted the forms at the headquarters of the party in Accra.

Speaking to the media after the submission, the former Minister of Trade and Industry appealed to delegates to vote for him during the flagbearer election, arguing that he is the man to help the NPP to break the 8.

“I want to use this opportunity to make a passionate appeal to the delegates. As delegates, you are representing not only your own interest but also the interest of the rank and file of our party.

“What the rank and file want is a new leader who will satisfy five basic conditions. A leader who will help our party to break the 8 and help the NPP to succeed itself in power,” Alan Kyerematen said.

The presidential aspirant continued, “Not only a flagbearer but a flagbearer who will become president in 2025. They are looking for a candidate who has the knowledge and competency to solve the problems facing our country.

“That candidate who fits this bill is your own brother, father, Uncle Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen. Please make Alan the leader and we will break the 8.”

The NPP’s presidential primaries will be held on November 4.

Already, 11 people have picked nominations to contest the flagbearer elections. Out of the lot, only Alan has filed the nomination.
