The Founder of Movement for Change, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen has reiterated his unflinching commitment to elevate Ghana with his Great Transformational Plan (GTP).

The seasoned politician noted that Ghanaians deserve a better living condition and he is the only messiah to take the nation to that promise land.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Nana Kwabena Ampratwum on Kumasi based Time FM 97.7, he emphasized that his vision will lead Ghana to becoming a more self-reliant and resilient economy – through what he described as the Great Transformational Plan (GTP) for Ghana spanning 2025-2030.

In a detailed description of the GTP, the long-serving Trade and Industry Minister itemised seven points in his bid to lead with a spirit of service and efficiency in addition to building a formidable Ghanaian workforce

He identified seven factors for the success of his Great Transformational Plan: the Private Sector’s primacy in our national development agenda; attitude to work and enforcement of discipline; prevention of corruption and petty theft or thievery; rejecting the arrogance of power; passion for excellence; increased focus on getting things done rather than just talking; and minimising the divisive nature of Ghanaian politics.

Alan Kyerematen strongly believes that government’s focus must be to facilitate the process of making our private sector competitive, by creating an enabling environment for business. He also encouraged more people to appreciate the need for discipline in all spheres or national life, and called for a change in the national attitude to work.

Mr. Kyerematen identified corruption and theft – particularly from the public purse – as the reason Ghana could not utlilise its tax revenue and other resources for the development of our country.
