The Chiefs and people of Nobewam, a community within the Juaben Constituency on Wednesday honored the Member of Parliament (MP), Hon Ama Pomaa Boateng for channeling development projects and programmes into their area.

In a citation, the Chiefs praised the MP for deliberately choosing to invest in the people of the community as well as many others in the Juaben Constituency.

They also commended the MP for ensuring the town benefits from a government sponsored Nobewam Technical Institute (NTI)

These initiatives by the MP, the citation said shows that Hon Pomaa has the interests and welfare of the people of the town as well as the entire Juaben Constituency at heart.

Gesture:
Earlier on, Hon Pomaa Boateng at a durbar at the Chiefs Palace presented a cash amount of GhC 10, 000.00 to the elders.

This was to enable the authorities at the newly unveiled Nobewam Technical Institute commence operations at the school.

The MP also donated ten (10) sets of street lights as a measure to enhance security in the town.

Additionally,  Hon Pomaa handed over ten (10) brand new sewing machines to the Technical institute to enable the trainees have access to use of same for studies.

Other Projects:
On Monday, the MP accompanied the Chiefs and people of Achiase to tour the completed Police Station complex initated and built for the people.

Earlier on, Hon Pomaa Boateng visited the ongoing six unit classroom block being built for the people of Esaase,a community within the Juaben Constituency.

Appreciation:
Speaking at these three separate meetings, Hon Ama Pomaa Boateng thanked the Chiefs and people for praying and supporting her to carry out her mandate.

She noted that together they could do more for the people within the communities of Juaben Constituency so that collectively they will share in the joy of development.
