Asamoah Gyan To Appeal Court Decision In Malicious Prosecution Case 1 min read
The judgment was related to a malicious prosecution case stemming from allegations of extortion following a rape accusation involving Gyan.
Gyan expressed his dissatisfaction with the verdict, stating as quoted, “I will definitely appeal because it doesn’t make sense,” and added, “There is no way I should lose that case.”
He questioned the judge’s decision, suggesting a conspiracy and vowed to follow up on the matter.
Justice Ernest Owusu Dapaa found that the manager of Asamoah Gyan had set the malicious prosecution in motion, leading to the High Court’s ruling on Friday, December 8.
Anthony Sarfo, the journalist involved in the case, said he was thrilled with the judgment.
