Ashanti NPP Ready For Presidential Polls – Director Of Elections1 min read
Ashanti Regional NPP Director of Elections, Nana Kofi Owusu has said Ashanti NPP is ready for November 4 presidential polls.
He noted that all logistics, delegates album and all others are ready.
Nana Kofi Owusu said on the Ama Ghana Morning Show that the police will take over the security of the polls.
He assured the public that what happened in the special delegates conference 26 August won’t be repeated. A total of 203439 delegates are expected to participate in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primary on Saturday, November 4, 2023.
Four aspirants are currently vying to succeed President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, after the party trimmed down the list of 10 flagbearer hopefuls in its August Super Delegates Conference.
The remaining four aspirants in the race are Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, MP for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, former Agriculture Minister, Dr. Owusu Akoto Afriyie, and former MP for Mampong, Francis Addai-Nimoh.
