Assin North By-election: NPP Is A Disgrace, Arrogant Party – Former Obuasi MCE Zuba1 min read

A former Municipal Chief Executive Officer for Obuasi, Richard Ofori Agyemang Boadi aka Zuba does not seem happy with the statement that the NDC won the Assin North by-election with propaganda.

According to Mr Ahiagba in an interview with Kwame Koranteng on Ama Ghana Morning Show on Time FM, the largest opposition party won the Assin North by-election with false allegations about the NPP.

He said the NDC campaigned that the NPP will legalise LGBTQI+ should they win the by-election.

“The NDC said our candidate, Charles Opoku dabbles in galamsey,” he noted.

In a swift response, the former Obuasi MCE, Hon. Agyemang Boadi denied those allegations and described the NPP as a disgraceful and arrogant party that does not respect the Assin North electorates.

“Assin North people are not children to be deceived. They are discerning. Which NDC leader made those statements? The people know Gyakye Quayson and the success he has chalked in the area. Our campaign was on the development we made at Assin North during our tenure,” he replied Mr Ahiagba.

Mr Ahiagba chipping in said, “Ghana has matured in democracy and it’s time to expose the NDC.”
