Bawumia Is the Modern-Day Moses, Sent to Lead Ghana Forward – Obiri Boahen Declares1 min read
Former Deputy General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Lawyer Nana Obiri Boahen, has expressed his views on Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s recent engagement with the press.
Lawyer Obiri Boahen commended Dr. Bawumia’s demeanor and composure in responding to the journalists’ questions, describing his performance as exceptionally commendable.
In an interview, he further highlighted the Vice President’s comprehensive coverage of various sectors of the economy, remarking that it was nothing short of remarkable.
He observed that every journalist who wished to attend the event was required to apply online, yet those who failed to do so resorted to criticizing the Vice President on radio, accusing him of offering money to those who participated.
He challenged this notion, asking rhetorically if it is forbidden to organize an event and provide attendees with financial support for food and transportation.
With indignation, he noted the hypocrisy, pointing out that no one has criticized the Political Science lecturer at the University of Ghana, Prof. Ransford Gyampo, or columnist P.K. Sarpong, both of whom frequently write in favor of the NDC.
Lawyer Nana Obiri Boahen emphasized that it would be a profound misfortune for the people of Ghana if they fail to elect Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the forthcoming elections.
He further asserted that selecting John Mahama over Dr. Bawumia would be an irreparable and grievous error on the part of Ghanaians.
He likened Dr. Bawumia to the modern-day Moses, proclaiming him as a divine blessing bestowed upon the nation.
