Bawumia-Led Govt Will Champion Sustainable Community Mining – NAPO1 min read

Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh, running mate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has pledged that a Bawumia-led government will end mining activities in waterbodies and forest reserves.

He assured that the next NPP administration would introduce eco-friendly mining equipment to minimize environmental damage.

Speaking in Odotobri during his campaign tour, NAPO emphasized the party’s commitment to promoting community mining as part of broader sustainable practices.

He also highlighted forthcoming policies to regulate mining and protect local environments, amid rising calls from unions to tackle illegal mining.
