The Executive Director of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Dr. Henry Kwabena Kokofu, has described the Vice President, His Excellency Dr. Alhaji Mahauadu Bawumia, as the new face of global geopolitics in the country.
The EPA believes the Vice President represents a new paradigm in the country’s political discourse and is poised to lead Ghana into a realm of economic prosperity.
Dr. Kwabena Kokofu, who is currently playing active role in the Vice President’s bid to lead the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) revealed that he saw the potentials in Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia several years back and actually mooted the idea for him to consider to lead the party.
“We knew from several years back that this day will come; that the opportunity will present itself for the Vice President to lead the NPP to an unprecedented victory of Breaking The 8” the EPA Boss stated in an interview.
According to him, the global political economy is moving towards a system that requires green and technological ideas, something which he says situates perfectly with the digitalisation agenda being pursued by the Vice President.
He said it was for that reason the Vice President is attracting huge support from all quarters because he has demonstrated enough competence to be able to lead the country.
