Bawumia to File Presidential Nomination on Monday, September 9th<span class="wtr-time-wrap after-title"><span class="wtr-time-number">1</span> min read</span>

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has announced that its 2024 Presidential Candidate, Vice President Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, will officially submit his nomination for the presidential race at the Electoral Commission headquarters on Monday, September 9, 2024.

According to a press statement from NPP General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong, Dr. Bawumia will be accompanied by his running mate, Hon. Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, along with key party leaders, including the National Chairman, General Secretary, and the Majority Leader in Parliament.

Following the submission of his nomination, Dr. Bawumia will address party supporters and the general public at the NPP’s National Headquarters at 9:00 a.m.

The statement also invited party members and the wider public to participate in this significant occasion, which the NPP believes symbolizes new opportunities for Ghana.

*NPP FLAG BEARER, DR. MAHAMUDU BAWUMIA FILES HIS PRESIDENTIAL NOMINATION*

The NPP is pleased to announce to the general public that the Party’s 2024 Presidential Candidate, H.E Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia would, on Monday, September 9, 2024, file his presidential nomination at the headquarters of the Electoral Commission.

The Vice President and Leader of the Party would be accompanied by his Running Mate and Vice Presidential Candidate, Hon. Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the Party’s National Chairman and General Secretary, the Majority Leader in Parliament, and some few Party Leaders.

After filing his presidential nomination, the Presidential Candidate would be addressing party sympathizers and the general public at the Party’s National Headquarters at 9:00am.

Members of the Party and the general public are invited to be part of this historic moment of POSSIBILITY in Ghana’s Next Chapter.
