District Chief Executive Officer for Amansie South, Hon. Clement Kwame Opoku Gyamfi has stated that a chunk of the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates is thwarted by lack of accessible roads.

According to him, some BECE candidates in his area are not able to return home after they finish writing the exams.

Hon. Opoku Gyamfi was reacting to Time FM news report of some pupils sleeping away from home after exams.

He said on the Ama Ghana Morning Show that the government should prioritize the fixing of deplorable roads rather than creating more exam centres.
