Bekwai: NPP Gains Royal Blessing; Chiefs Endorse PC, Lawyer Ralph Poku-Adusei2 min read
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) received a significant boost in Bekwai Constituency as some traditional chiefs in the area pledged their support for the party’s parliamentary candidate, Lawyer Ralph Poku-Adusei in his first official visit to “Nananom”.
The chiefs, while extolling Mr. Poku-Adusei’s commitment to the development of the Constituency, publicly declare their endorsement, granting the NPP candidate their royal blessing as they called on constituents to vote for him in the parliamentary elections of December 2024.
They noted that even though Lawyer Ralph Poku-Adusei is not yet a Member of Parliament(MP) for the area, he has undertaken massive development projects across the constituency with great vision for the future. This, they argued, makes him deserving of the mandate to lead the constituency so that he could do more, especially for deprived communities in the Bekwai Constituency.
Some also praised the NPP’s commitment to the Nation’s growth and commended the candidate’s dedication to the community. They urged their subjects to rally behind the NPP, emphasizing the importance of unity and progress.
This endorsement is seen as a significant milestone in the campaign, as the chiefs’ influence carries significant weight in the Constituency. The NPP is optimistic that this backing will translate into votes, securing a decisive victory in the upcoming elections.
Addressing the chiefs, Lawyer Ralph Poku-Adusei asserted that he was happy to received the coveted royal blessing from the traditional chiefs.
Lawyer Ralph Poku-Adusei is widely expected to win the parliamentary election in 2024 given that the Constituency is not just a bastion of NPP but that he has the clout and support of the constituents.
The atmosphere was electric as prominent party members, including the candidate was warmly welcomed, He expressed gratitude for the chiefs’ support. The candidate promised to work tirelessly to address the needs of the constituency, citing development, education, and healthcare as top priorities.
