Black Stars Arrive In Cote D’Ivoire Dressed In Kente<span class="wtr-time-wrap after-title"><span class="wtr-time-number">1</span> min read</span>

 

The Senior National team, the Black Stars have arrived in Cote d’Ivoire ahead of the start of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon).
The team arrived on Wednesday, 10 January, 2024.

Together with the technical team, the players arrive in the Ivorian capital of Abidjan clad in beautiful kente cloth.

The team showcased the cloth which symbolises loyalty, met with cheers at the airport.

Ghana will kick-start her campaign in group B with a game against Cape Verde at 8pm on Sunday, 14 January 2024.

The team will then play African giants, Egypt on Thursday, 18 January 2024 followed by Mozambique on Thursday, 22 January.

The games will be played at the Felix Houphet Boigny Stadium in the commune of Le Plateau.
