Breaking News: Court Strikes Out Case As Duffour Withdraws Suit1 min read
An Accra High Court has ruled out the interlocutory injunction filed by a Presidential aspirant for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Dr Kwabena Duffour against the primaries on Saturday.
With the application being struck out, the election will come on Saturday.
Dr Duffuor’s campaign team alleged it has not been furnished with an accurate list of persons who are supposed to participate in the May 13, Presidential and Parliamentary polls.
He, therefore, wanted the court to put the elections on hold and have the party engage candidates on a road map toward drawing up an accurate list of voters.
