CCC Supports KATH Renovation Project With GhC 50, 000.00.

Calvary Charismatic Center (CCC), a Charismatic church in Kumasi has presented a cheque of GHC 50,000. 00 to support the renovation works being undertaken at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH).

At the church’s third service on Sunday, Pastor Joshua Obeng, Resident Minister of the church handed over a GhC 50, 000 dummy cheque to Mr Sammy Adu Boakye, Chairman of the Heal Komfo Anokye Project (HeKAP).

Giving a background to the donation, Pastor Joshua said Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) needed an urgent renovation so that it could be in a better position to attend to cases and referrals that are brought to the facility.

“We at CCC are happy to be associated with good things and as a responsible church we have decided to contribute GhC 50, 000.00 which are funds taken from our congregation to help in the renovation project led by Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene”, the CCC Resident Minister stated.

Appreciation:
Showing appreciation, Mr Sammy Adu Boakye thanked CCC for the donation and the gesture.

He noted that the church through its General Overseer, Reverend Ransford Obeng who happens to be a member of the Advisory Board of the Project had shown profuse commitment to the renovation project.

He also revealed that the General Overseer of CCC is the only Church leader who occasionally passes through KATH to check on management members as well as persons in charge of the project.

“I am happy standing here and receiving this cheque on behalf of the Heal KATH Project but would want to say that for the role your General Overseer has been playing even if you had given nothing monetary, your constant prayer for us was enough motivation for some of us and the Asantehene”, the Chairman stressed.

Appeal:
Mr Adu Boakye however appealed to other well meaning churches to come on board the project and donate to support the renovation works.

He noted that the Kumasi metropolis can boast of hundreds of churches, adding that their individual support and donations could push the project very far.

The Chairman stated that the project stands to benefit the entire country since KATH receives referrals from twelve (12) out of the 16 regions of Ghana 🇬🇭.

“I would take this opportunity to entreat all well meaning Ghanaians including churches especially those in the Ashanti Region to donate to support the Heal KATH Project so that its completion could serve the needs of the public and everyone living in Ghana 🇬🇭 especially in the Ashanti Region”, the Chairman appealed.
