“Come Together To Get A Business Plan For Kumasi” – KNUST Snr Lecturer Charges A/R MMDCEs1 min read
A Senior Lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Dr Stephen Appiah Takyi has urged all the MMDCEs in the Ashanti Region to unite and get a business plan for the city.
Dr Appiah Takyi suggested they should name the business plan ‘Greater Kumasi Business Plan’.
Appearing on the maiden edition of “Ama Ghana” Morning Show on Time FM in Kumasi on Monday 26th June, 2023, he lamented that the challenge that has retard Kumasi’s development is poor planning.
He said some Chiefs in Ashanti Region have disappointed their people while others have lived up to the task.
“Ghanaians like politics more than development. If we want to develop we must be serious,” he urged.
Dr Appiah Takyi urged residents in the Region to be on a united front.
“We can be together socially, environmentally and politically,” he affirmed.
