Nana Akwasi Prempeh, the President of the Federation of Kumasi Traders, has voiced skepticism regarding the reduction of heavy traffic at Kejetia following the completion of Phase 2 of the Central Market.

Phase 2 of the Kejetia Central Market will not relieve traffic congestion, according to Nana Prempeh.

During his appearance on Time FM’s Ama Ghana Morning Show, he mentioned that while the previous Kejetia Central Market could house over 4,000 traders, its phase 1 and phase 2 will eventually house 3,500 traders.
