The Deputy Attorney General, Alfred Tuah-Yeboah, has requested that the ongoing ambulance trial be heard on a daily basis to expedite the proceedings.

This comes after the principal defendant, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, requested a live television broadcast of the remaining hearings due to recent accusations against Attorney-General Godfred Yeboah Dame.

While the Deputy Attorney General’s office has no objection to the live broadcast, they believe daily hearings would help accelerate the trial.

“We are open to the live broadcast, but we also propose day-to-day hearings to conclude this matter as soon as possible,” Tuah-Yeboah stated. The final decision, however, rests with the Chief Justice.
