EC Sets 23rd May For Kumawu By-election; Filing Fee Pegs At Ghc 10,0001 min read
The Electoral Commission has set 23rd May, 2023 for the Kumawu By-election.
This follows the death of late Kumawu MP, Philip Basoah in March, 2023.
The Commission in a press statement on its social media handle sighted by mytimefm.com, said it will receive nomination from perspective candidates at the Sekeyere-Kumawu District from 2nd May 2023, to 5th May 2023.
It said that interested candidates can download the nomination forms from the Commission’s website( www.ec.gov.gh) from 14th April 2023, to 5th May 2023.
The Commission stated that the filing fee for the election has been pegged at Ghc 10,000.00.
