Economist Hails Gov’t Over Import Restriction Bill But…..1 min read
An Economic Lecturer at the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS), Dr. Patrick Assuming has commended the government on the Import Restriction Bill.
According to Dr. Assuming, apart from the Import Restriction Bill stabilizing the cedi against the dollar it will also create job opportunities.
Speaking on the Ama Ghana Morning Show with Nana Kwabena Ampratwum, he noted that Ghana can produce some goods but lacks raw materials for production.
Dr. Assuming urged the government to support rice producers to motivate them to produce more.
