Spokesperson for Coalition of Concerned Teachers Association, Adokwei Ayikwei Awulley has fired the Ghana Education Service (GES) in a move to fish out JHS 1 and 2 students who skip class to write the Basic Education and Certificate Examination (BECE).

According to Adokwei Ayikwei Awulley, the GES’s move will infringe on the rights of the students.

In an interview on the Ama Ghana Morning Show on Kumasi based Time FM, he said there is a problem with Ghana’s education system.

He advised the government to have a data for all the students to be able to trace who jumps class to write the BECE.
