Former KMA Presiding Member Predicts Alan Kyerematen's Victory Over Bawumia in 2024 Elections

Abraham Boadi, a former Presiding Member of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA), forecasts that Alan Kyerematen, leader of the Movement for Change, will triumph over the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, in the upcoming 2024 general elections.

Known affectionately as “Opooman,” Boadi asserted that Alan Kyerematen’s victory will herald a significant transformation for Asanteman.

During an appearance on the Ama Ghana Morning Show with Nana Kwabena Ampratwum, Boadi emphasized the neglect Asanteman has experienced under the Akufo-Addo administration, particularly in the Ashanti Region.

Opooman lamented the lack of development in the Ashanti region and expressed gratitude that Alan Kyerematen’s potential presidency would replace what he perceives as Akufo-Addo’s neglect.

Asserting that regional authorities acknowledge the developmental gap but hesitate to address it, he pledged unwavering commitment to Asanteman’s progress, vowing to champion its development tirelessly.
