The Eastern Region’s capital, Koforidua, is preparing for a colourful Independence Day celebration that is set to happen tomorrow, March 6, 2024.

The 6th of March is always designated as Ghana’s Independence Day. Ghanaians celebrate this day as a national holiday with great enthusiasm.

The Youth Resource Center in Koforidua, Eastern Region, which represents a strong meeting place for the community to advance Ghana’s independence journey and promote unity, will be the focal point of this year’s celebrations.

The General Secretary of the People’s National Congress (PNC) Janet Nabla claims that Ghana has regressed and that Independence Day is not worth honoring.

Speaking on Time FM 97.7MHz’s Ama Ghana Morning Show, she claimed that people have strayed from the cultural values they were raised with.

As Ghanaians celebrate Freedom Day, she counseled them to adopt a new mindset.
