Ghana Is Transforming Rapidly - Chairman Wontumi

The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Bernard Antwi Boasiako aka Chairman Wontumi has affirmed that Ghana is transforming rapidly.

According to Chairman Wontumi, ongoing developmental projects like the construction of 4 Major By-Passes on the Accra- Kumasi Highway are proof of Ghana’s transformation.

Speaking with mytimefm.com after the vetting of NPP Parliamentary candidate aspirants at Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s office at Asokwa Constituency on January 4, 2024, he added that foreigners thronged the country to celebrate Christmas and for that matter is an indication that the country is ‘changing.’

Chairman Wontumi stressed that the economy which was affected by the Russia-Ukraine war is bouncing back.

Relatedly, President Akufo-Addo has vowed to use the last year of his stay in office to do all in his power to continue to help create a free and prosperous nation of opportunities.

Akufo-Addo said he will always be glad to the Almighty God and Ghanaians for allowing him to serve them.

Delivering his Christmas and New Year message, he said he remains committed to the mandate Ghanaians have given him.

He was notable that 2024 is an important year in the country’s democracy where the 9th general election in the history of the fourth republic will be held.

He said every Ghanaian must conduct themselves in a manner to have free, fair and transparent elections.

Nana Addo expressed confidence that Ghanaians will rise to the occasion once again and reinforce the status of Ghana as a beacon of democracy on the African Continent.
