Ghana Not Ready For Import Restriction Bill – Lawyer Andy Appiah-Kubi1 min read

Member of Parliament for Asante Akim North and Member of Trade, Industry and Tourism Committee, Lawyer Andy Appiah Kubi has established that Ghana is not ready for the Import Restriction Bill.

According to Lawyer Andy Appiah-Kubi, the production of goods like rice, sugar and cars are very low and cannot meet the demand at the market which makes it problematic.

Speaking with Nana Kwabena Ampratwum on Time FM’s Ama Ghana Morning Show, the Asante-Akim North Constituency MP said the idea is good but the reality on the grounds does not support it.
