GNPC Honoured With International Impact Award At The 2024 Premier Energy Leadership Middle East & Africa Conference & Awards In Dubai

Energy With Purpose Award (CSR Impact Honour) was bestowed on Ghana National Petroleum Corporation(GNPC) at the maiden Premier Energy Leadership Middle East & Africa Conference & Awards in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The event was held on Thursday, the 17th day of October, 2024 at the Khoory Sky Garden Hotel, Dubai, United Arab Emirates under the theme: “Harnessing AI for a Sustainable Energy Future-Innovations, Impact and Integration. This is a high-impact, top-level energy leadership conference and awards developed by The Governance & Business Boardroom, Middle East Solar Insustry Association, JEPMSS and Energy Governance Middle East & Africa Magazine.

Ghana’s National Oil Company was decorated with the gong of CSR Impact Honour in pusuance of the many and several CSR activities and projects done by its Foundation across the length and breadth of Ghana which includes but not limited to the offering of Foreign and Local Scholarships to Ghanaians to study at the tertiary levels of education, construction of Science Laboratories, Sick Bays, CHPS Compounds, 160-Bed Dormitories, Astro Turfs, Classroom Blocks, Sanitary Facilities, Dining Halls, Boreholes, and the training of Artisans and providing them with start-up tools to begin their entrepreneural journey of life.

Representing GNPC at the august awards gala were Deputy Chief Executive (Finance), Benjamin Kweku Acolatse Esq and the Executive Director of GNPC Foundation, Dr Dominic Kwesi Eduah. This is a testament of the impact we create in the lives of individuals and communities nationwide and we are not resting on our oars unless and until there is a remarkable improvement in the quality of life of the people of Ghana.
