The Alliance for Accountable Governance’s (AFAG) Vice Chairman, Mr Henry Asante has stated that the ministerial reshuffle will have no effect before the December elections.

According to Mr. Asante, the late Ministerial reshuffle was brought about by the 1992 Constitution.

Speaking on the Ama Ghana Morning Show on Time FM 97.7MHz, he stated that if there was a timeline for the reshuffle, President Akufo-Addo would not have delayed until now.

Mr Asante questioned the role of the Council of State, stating, “If there was a Council of State to advise the President, this last-minute reshuffle would not have occurred.”
