Henry Asante Tasks Political Parties To Declare Their Sources Of Funding1 min read

Vice Chairman of Alliance for Accountable Governance (AFAG), Henry Asante, is tasking the various political parties in the country to declare their sources of funding.

According to Mr Asante, if the Electoral Commission applies the political party rules most of the political parties will be disqualified.

Mr Asante reacted to the Founder of the New Force, Nana Kwame Bediako aka Cheddar’s statement that Ghanaians should focus on his message and not his sources of income.

He told Nana Kwabena Ampratwum during an interview on the Ama Ghana Morning Show on Time FM 97.7MHz that he disagrees with Cheddar’s utterance.

He posited that in every ‘good’ country, a political party is obliged to declare its sources of funding.
