I Bonked Them Before Employment — David Adjaye Admits Sex With 3 Accusers But Explains 1 min read
Celebrated Architect David Adjaye has admitted sleeping with the three women at the center of Sexual abuse accusations against him even before they started working for him, saying he made a “mistake” for which he is seeking “professional help” over the issue.Three women whose names are not given including one who met Adjaye in 2019 all allege that he sexually harassed them over two to three years working with him.
One of them said she “endured a series of controlling and emotionally abusive sexual encounters with him”.
After Adjaye’s lawyer claimed that each of the women had “their own grievances” against the architect, the architect himself has spoken for the first time about the matter admitting the sex was “consensual”.
“Ashamed to say that I entered into relationships which though entirely consensual, blurred the boundaries between my professional and personal lives. Deeply sorry for that and will be immediately seeking professional help in order to learn from these mistakes to ensure that they never happen again.” he said in a statement.
Regarding the third woman, he acknowledges that the relationship continued “sporadically” after her employment and he accepts that this was
“inappropriate” and led to a blurring of personal and professional boundaries.
However, he strongly denies any abusive or controlling behaviour in his relationships with her.
David Adjaye admits to having had intimate relationships with all three women before employing them.
