IGP In Kumawu To Assess Security Preparedness Ahead Of By-election1 min read
The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr George Akuffo Dampare is currently in Kumawu in the Ashanti Region to touch base with the Police deployment on the ground and also assess security preparedness ahead of the Tuesday polls.
He arrived in the area on Saturday, May 20.
The IGP and other senior police officers have been walking through the streets of the town.
They have been interacting with members of the community, Police officers and motorists as part of a security tour ahead of the upcoming by-election.
