I’ll Outline A Comprehensive Economic Policy Beyond The 24hr Economy By January 2024

The flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Former President John Mahama has responded to skeptics of his campaign promise of a 24-hour economy.

John Mahama who is on his second phase of the ‘Building Ghana Together’ tour, admits that some institutions are already operating 24 hours, but stressed that a future NDC government would facilitate an inclusive policy that will have all onboard.

The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) continues to assert that the 24-hour economy promise is already being implemented by some institutions, downplaying its impact.

However, the former president asserts that the policy, providing necessary resources and incentives for interested institutions, will make it easier for everyone to participate.
Party Unity:

John Mahama believes that a visit to his main contender in the party’s presidential primary, Dr. Kwabena Duffour has set a good example for all to follow, urging the party faithful to emulate their exemplary leadership.

“I have visited Dr Duffuor and he has subsequently visited me to with the team. If those of us at the top have come together, what are you also doing? You must emulate our ideals and forge for a unified victory in 2024,” John Mahama said.
