Import Restriction Bill: NPP Wants To Bring Back ‘Kalabuley’ Economy – Spio-Garbrah 1 min read

Ekwow Spio-Garbrah, former Minister for Trade and Industry says the New Patriotic Party (NPP) wants to reintroduce the street-smart literary known as ‘kalabuley”following the proposal of the import restriction bill.

Spio-Garbrah explained that during the Kutu Acheampong erstwhile administration, people had to pay three times the amount of a product before he could get it.

Speaking on the Ama Ghana Morning Show on Time FM in Kumasi, he said the NPP government led by Nana Addo has dabbled in corruption for seven years and is still not satisfied.
