Improve Teachers Conditions Of Service To Reduce Attrition Rate – Coalition Of Concern Teachers Association To Gov’t1 min read

The Spokesperson for the Coalition Of Concern Teachers Association, Mr. Adokwei Ayikwei Awulley has revealed that lack of compensation and poor condition of service are the major causes of high attrition rate in the teaching sector.

According to Mr. Adokwei Ayikwei Awulley, if teachers are paid good salaries and if good conditions of services are provided by the government, the attrition rate will be reduced.

In an interview on the Time FM Ama Ghana Morning Show he said that teaching and learning materials are not available in most of the schools which also affect teaching and learning.
