Interco: Asanteman SHS Students Mob Otumfuo’s Statue In Kejetia After Qualifying For Super Zonal1 min read
Some students of Asanteman Senior High School in Kumasi have unfolded the unthinkable before the eyes of residents in Kumasi.
The Asanteman SHS students thronged the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II statue in Kejetia market to celebrate their qualification to the 2023 Super Zonal of the Inter Schools and Colleges Athletic competition.
The action which happened on the evening of Friday, May 19, 2023 kept traders, commuters and pedestrians startled.
Asanteman SHS was in Zone one of the Interco with some schools like T.I. Ahmadiya, KSTS, Osei Tutu SHS, Effiduase Senior High, Nkawie SHSTS Aduman SHS, et al.
They secured the 6th position with 44 points to get a slot in the Super Zonal.
The Super Zonal is slated for 25th and 26th, May 2023.
