It Would Have Been Better If Akufo-Addo Didn’t Do Reshuffle – Prof. Kobby Mensah1 min read
Associate Professor of Ghana Business School, Professor Kobby Mensah says it would have been better if President Akufo-Addo didn’t make major reshuffle in his cabinet ministers.
According to Proffessor Kobby Mensah who was speaking on the Ama Ghana Morning Show on Time FM, the President didn’t do the spirit behind the call for reshuffle.
President Akufo-Addo announced a major cabinet reshuffle on Valentine’s Day, affecting 13 current ministers. Changes targeted key portfolios, such as Finance and Interior, to drive progress and development in Ghana.
Following the re-organisation of the Government, President Akufo-Addo has submitted to Parliament, for prior approval, through the Speaker, Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, the names of appointment Ministers and Deputy Ministers of State, in accordance with articles 78, 79 and 256, respectively, of the Constitution.
He told host, Nana Kwabena Ampratwum the reshuffle will not have any positive impact on the country saying the newly appointed Ministers will bring nothing to the table.
