The mother of deceased Deputy Finance Minister, Dr John Kumah, has called for autopsy to ascertain the cause of his death.

She made the call in reaction to rumours that her son was poisoned.

The allegation of poisoning has become widespread since the late Ejisu MP died on Thursday, March 7, 2024.

The late John Kumah’s mother who was distraught, stated that “Dr Kumah’s death has caused the family immense pain.” She spoke in an interview with JoyNews captured by mytimefm.com

She demanded that an autopsy be performed to verify the rumours in relation to his son being poisoned.

She wondered why anyone would wish death for her son, and noted that the family’s backbone has been destroyed.

Dr John Kumah, passed away aged 45 years on March 7, after a short illness.

He left behind a legacy as a devoted family man, being survived by his wife, Apostle Mrs. Lilian Kumah, and six children.
